Greetings all...

I've been trying to get a new HD installed (Conner 121 meg SCSI HD) into my
A2500 (Has a GVP HD+8 as the controller), but I have been running into a lot of
problems getting all of the bad blocks mapped out using HDToolbox (Comes with WB
2.1).  Seems that the program has a very rudimentary verify facility (VERY
labor intensive), and that even after I have spent close to an hour getting all
of the blocks mapped, the program tells me that there is not enough room to save
the bad block data (I seem to have developed close to 21 bad blocks located by
the program).  I have followed the programs suggestions and have put the number
of partitions down to only one, and have limited the actual size of the
partition to 110 megs, leaving close to five megs on either side of the mapped
partition (using the partition drive function of the program), yet I cannot seem
to get the bad block data to save to the drive!

Anyone out there have any ideas short of trashing the drive?  Are there any
other programs that I could use instead of the HDToolbox that might have an
automatic verify function?  Any other ideas to help out?  Thanks in advance!
